The Greek Welfare Centre (GWC) coordinates a warm, friendly playgroup catering to parents and their babies and children from newborn to preschool age up to 5 years old.
The group meets every Wednesdays in the church hall from 10.30am to 12 noon during the NSW school term. Activities begin with free play and then onto structured craft, reading and activities including bilingual (Greek/English) singing, dancing and cooking.
The focus of the meeting is to provide support and friendship for new parents, as well as a nurturing, educational and fun activity for little ones.
All parents/carers of babies, toddlers and preschoolers are welcome to join per term or on a casual drop in. All children must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver. All coordinators have a valid ‘ Working With Children’s Check’ and training with the GWC.
